Works carried out as principal contractor for City of London Corporation at 64-65 London Wall. Listed buildings works included: Complete refurbishment of toilets, communal areas, stairways and kitchenettes across two floors of offices. This included demolition, first and second fix electrics and plumbing, installation of sanitary ware and cubicles, tiling, plastering, decorating, flooring, cctv and fire alarm installations. These offices were in constant use during the works period, requiring extensive cleaning after each working period, which took place 6pm-6am, in addition carrying out repeat night works also required a high level of noise management to ensure sounding properties were not effected.
Works started 2.2.15 and scheduled for 12 weeks. Currently ahead of program, with no delays or variation costs, apart from additional works requested by client. All additional works fitted into existing schedule without delay to completion date. Client comment, “Communication between both parties still fruitful and harmonious. Approach working and should continue as stated in Pre-Contract meeting.PDC Construction Ltd has already been requested to complete the tender documents for the next phase of works.
